Step one is to visit their website and select a plan that fits the customers budget as well as the needs of the pet. When your pet requires medical attention of any kind, simply visit any licensed emergency clinic, veterinarian or specialist in the US. After your pet has received services, pay your bill and keep all records for reimbursement. File your claim by sending PetFirst your pet records and an itemized invoice for services received. PetFirst will follow up with the service provider for any missing information and process your claim within two weeks. Claims may be submitted through online portal, mail, email, or fax. All claims must be submitted within 90 days of treatment or invoice date. PetFirst does not provide insurance coverage for preexisting conditions, which is standard for the industry.
